UFB Display

Acronym for: Ultra Fine and Bright Display.

An LCD developed by Samsung that offers the low power consumption of passive-matrix displays (e.g. STN) and the rich colours and high response times of active-matrix screens (e.g. TFT). UFB displays allows up to 65k colour for mobile handsets.
