Little LEO

Relatively inexpensive and small satellites that provide low-data rate, low-cost, two-way digital communications, and location positioning to small handheld terminals. Systems include Leosat, Orbcomm, Starnet, and Vitasat. The frequency allocations are in the VHF band below 400 MHz.
