ETACS
Acronym for: Extended Total Access Communications System. Also known as Extended TDMA.
The original analogue standard (1G) used in the UK, based on the US AMPS system. It was later adopted in other countries including Hong-Kong and Japan. ETACS used 25 KHz channels with super audio signalling.
