Dual Mode
Mobile phone that can operate using two different standards. For example, phones that work on both digital and analogue networks, or those that can switch between cordless (DECT) and mobile (GSM) use. The former example is useful for those who travel between areas that use analogue and digital technology. These phones could operate in either 800/850 MHz frequency band or 1900 MHz frequencies band.
