CDPD Forum

Acronym for: Cellular Digital Packet Data Forum.

A North American trade association that promotes the development of the cellular data industry and, in particular, to the effective use and standardisation of cellular digital packet data. This group maintains the CDPD protocol specification that allows the transmission of packet data over analogue cellular channels.
