ANSI
Acronym for: American National Standards Institute.
An organisation that oversees the development of standards for products, services, systems and processes in the US. It coordinates American standards with international standards so that American products can be used worldwide. A product that has received ANSI certification has been circulated widely throughout the industry and conforms to ANSI's document design and publication guidelines.
